In 2021 the owner and founder of Pearl Body Co, Shaina was diagnosed with a rare genetic skin condition. Through trying to find body products that wouldn't trigger and aggravate her skin even further it made her look extensively into body products, the chemicals and ingredients that were added and what claims they were promising consumers. A majority of well known brands stated facts that they were approved by the skin association, dermatological approved when there was no monitoring of these claims and anyone could place these titles on their product. From a lack of options, Shaina sparked the idea to launch her very own bath and body product company, she began to learn the science and chemical formations and did a lot of research into what makes up a bath and body product and after years of product perfecting and sourcing the most natural chemicals and beautiful ingredients chosen, she was proud and ready to launch Pearl Body Co.

To Shaina Pearl Body Co wasn’t only about making bath and body products that are fun, look delicious and make you want to lick your lips, that’s only the bonus part, but it was created to establish clean harm-free products to people of all ages. All ingredients are derived from earth, with no artificial fragrances and colours, we added all the luscious natural butters, oils, oxides, native botanicals, earth clays, natural amazing chemicals elements and so much more.

A lot of us feel insecure in our own bodies. The media we have today, it reflects false representations and unrealistic standards of beauty, and how someone should or shouldn’t look.
