
A majority of our products are made up of the following key ingredients:
Water

Emulsifiers - to bind together the oil and water.
​
Preservatives - to prevent the growth of bacteria and mould or prevent degradation by heat.
Thickeners - to change the consistency.

Colours - obtained from oxides, clays, minerals, native and local botanicals, and earth-based sources.
Fragrances – All natural fragrance oils, derived from native and local botanicals, plants, ingredients and foods and so on.

Ph stabilisers - To make the product compatible with the body's acidity

Butter – We use a variation of butters, such as Shea Butter, Almond Butter, Cocoa Butter, mango butter, olive oil and aloe vera butter.
Oils – A portion of oils are used in soap making as well as some of the products like body oil, body butter and body products. Same that are used are olive oil, oat oil, soybean oil, jojoba oil, canola oil, rosebud oil, safflower, sunflower, coconut, and almond oil.

Other Ingredients Found In Our Products
Baking soda: a chemical compound known as baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is a white solid that is crystalised, but often appears as a fine powder. Added for antiseptic with antibacterial properties in body products.
Aqua - water
Sorbitol - like glycerine, it is a hydrating ingredient and a thickening agent.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate - is an extremely gentle surfactant and emulsifier.
Disodium/ Sodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate - this is a gentle surfactant that foams with water and cleanses the skin.
Sodium Chloride Phenoxyethanol - is a natural ingredient in cosmetic products that serve as a preservative.
Emulsified Wax - is used to thicken a recipe.
Hydrocolloid - is a clear biodegradable dressing bandage
Glycerine - glycerine is an ingredient added to hydrate and moisturise the skin when other ingredients don’t.
Polyacrylic Acid - it holds humectant properties — meaning it attracts water and helps hold water in products

Homopolymer - stabilises and binds ingredients when water is added to products.
Polyethylene - to hold together the ingredients of a product.
Alcohol - an organic compound that is often used as a thickener and emulsifier.
Epson Salt - Epsom salt is made of naturally occurring minerals magnesium and sulphate.
Sodium Chloride Sea Salt - sea salt is salt that is produced by the evaporation of seawater.
CDE80 - Coconut oil fatty acids.
Caustic Soda - Also known as lye or sodium hydroxide (NaOH0 is used in saponification, the chemical process that converts vegetable oils into soap. Caustic soda is used to manufacture anionic surfactants, a crucial component in soap making.

Citric Acid - Is a compound originally derived from lemon juice

Sodium Laureth Sulphate: Sodium Laureth Sulphate is a compound naturally sourced from coconut oil that is used as a foaming agent.
Potassium Oleate - Potassium Oleate is a mixture of liquid potassium solution mixed with water.
Potassium Cocoate - Potassium Cocoate is the potassium salt of the fatty acid of coconut oil.
